I'm interested in what's in your kit, and why? I'm curious about your snare and cymbal choices.

Nick, I use a DW kit,black cherry saitn oil natural finished 25th anniversary kit; rack-toms are 12"and 13", floor is 16", kick is 22'x18",snare is a 1985 model Tama chrome 7' floating snare with a trigger for a beat bug metronone. brass is 21" Zild heavy rock ride, 20" Zild K custom medium ride, 18"Zild k crash ride, 16" Paiste formula 2002 thin crash, a vintage my first crash in 1966-16" formula 602 medium crash which doubles as another great crash ride, 12" splash Zildj., 14"Sabian hi-hat set. Everything is mounted on a curved Gibralter rack System. I use a DW turbo 5000 double bass beater, DW 5000 Hi -Hat w/swivel base. I set my fat ass on a 1977 Rogers drum stool that i"ve re-padded four times. Everything get wrapped up in H&B Econoline fiber cases, hardware goes out in a H&B Enduro hard plastic trap case 16"x16"x48"
